1. Book Released:

3. Mobile World Congress:

  • Inaugurated in Barcelona, Spain.
  • It focused on increasing the global connectivity of the 5G network and economic recovery.

4. Daylight Harvesting Technology:

  • It is basically bringing natural sunlight inside the rooms and also the solar energy spectrum has 45% energy as visible light that can be used to harvest building illumination for about 9-11 hours a day.
  • This technology will contribute to meeting one of the commitments of the five nectars of ‘PANCHAMRIT’ i.e., to make India a Net Zero Emission country by 2070.

5. India and ITU sign host country agreement:

  • Signed by the government of India and International Telecommunication Union for the establishment of an Area office and innovation centre of ITU in New Delhi.
  • The 5Gi standards (5G Radio Interface Technology) developed by India have been recognised by ITU as one of the three technologies for 5G.
  • ITU H.Q: Geneva, Switzerland.

6. UK – India innovation centre starts sustainable cooling project:

  • It is aimed at accelerating the deployment of Energy efficient refrigeration for food and vaccine supply chains across India.

7. Exercise Vayu Shakthi:

  • Conducted by the Indian Air Force.
  • Took place at Pokhran Range in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
  • Chief Guest – PM Narendra Modi.
  • It is conducted for three years once.

8. National Security Day:

  • Observed on 4th March.
  • To pay tribute and show gratitude to the National Security Forces of India, which includes the military, paramilitary, commandos, police officials, guards and those who maintain the peace and security of India.
