- Gujarat has topped the list among the larger states
- Followed by Kerala and Punjab

3. Pakistan’s Army conducted a successful flight test of the surface to surface medium-range ballistic missile Shaheen-III. It can strike upto 2,750km.
4. National Safe Motherhood day:

- To promote awareness about the importance of having proper access for pregnant women to healthcare.
5. New Prime Minister of Pakistan:
- Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has been elected the new prime minister of Pakistan.
6. Tamilnadu government passes resolution against CUET:
- Central University Entrance Test.
- The University Grants Commission (UGC) had asked Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to adopt CUET exams for admission to Undergraduate courses in central varsities, for the academic year 2022-23.
