What is Universal Basic Income?

2. PM inaugurates 11 new medical colleges and a new campus of Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT) in Tamil Nadu:

6. 79th edition of Golden Globe Awards Announced:

  • Jane Campion – won the best director motion picture for “The Power of the Dog”.
  • Actor Will Smith – Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama for his performance in “King Richard”.
  • Nicole Kidman – Best Actress – for her performance in “Being the Ricardo”.
  • Michaela Jae Rodriguez – Best Television Actress – 1st transgender actress to win a Golden Globe.

8. Henley Passport Index:

  • India – 83rd position, climbing 7 places from 90th rank in 2021.

9. Daniel Ortega was sworn in as President for the fourth term in Nicaragua.
