6. NATPOLREX-VIII:

National Level Pollution Response Exercise
Held at Mormugao harbour, Goa
It aims at validating the procedures and guidelines as contained in the National Oil Spill Disaster Contingency Plan (NOSDCP)

7. The UN Chinese Language Day is observed on April 20 annually.

8. SC reconstitutes expert committee for Delhi-Dehradun Corridor Project:

12 member committee
Headed by Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand.
Formed by the National Green Tribunal.

About Delhi-Dehradun Corridor Project:

It is a 12 km elevated wildlife corridor to enable the unhindered movement of animals.
The expressway will reduce the distance between Delhi and Dehradun from 235 km to 210 km, and the travel time from 6.5 hours to 3 hours.

9. Global AYUSH Investment & Innovation Summit 2022:

Held at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The AYUSH sector has increased to more than $18 billion from less than $3 billion in 2014.
