The UBA 2.0 is the upgraded version of UBA 1.0 which was launched in 2014.

5. INS Gharial as part of Mission SAGAR IX arrives in Colombo:

To provide critical medical aid to Sri Lanka during the ongoing crisis.

6. Whitley Gold Award:

Won by Charudutt Mishra, a snow leopard conservationist.
For his contribution to involving indigenous communities in the conservation and recovery of big cat species in Asia.
He established India’s first community-based initiative to save the endangered leopard.

7. International Jazz Day:

Observed on April 30.
Theme 2022: ‘A Call for Global Peace and Unity’

8. International Sculpture Day:

Observed on April 30 (Last Sunday of April)
To advance the creation and understanding of sculpture and its unique, vital contribution to society.

9. Ayushman Bharat Diwas:

Observed on April 30
Ayushman Bharat Yojana was launched in 2018
To provide healthcare benefits to crores of Indians who can’t afford proper medical facilities.
The Ayushman Bharat policy helps the economically backward classes by providing 5 lakh to each family every year.
